WHAT'S NEXT

As I prepare to graduate in May 2016, I have an exciting last semester in store at TCU.

In January I began an exciting internship with the Fort Worth Film Commission.  The commission opened its doors in October 2015 and is housed under the Convention and Visitors Bureau.  The commission's purpose is to help draw filmmakers to Fort Worth and to make their time in the city more efficient and enjoyable.  As an intern, I will be responsible for location scouting and taking sample pictures for the commission's database, content creation for the commission website and social media sites, responding to information requests, producing marketing materials, and meeting with filmmakers and crews if the opportunity presents itself.  I'm excited to learn more about this side of the business and happy to help kick start the commission's work in Fort Worth.

I will also be beginning an internship with RIDE TV in January.  As part of the Marketing and Branding department, I will primarily be in charge of finding topics for and writing blog posts, social media content, marketing inventory, and advertising research.

A group of my peers are in the process of creating a new film and have asked for my help as the person in charge of the marketing, PR, and advertising efforts.  More information to come soon!

At TCU, I'll be trying my hand at script writing in the Dramatic Writing course.  I will also be working on my final Strategic Communication project in the all-encompassing Campaigns class and gearing up for the Roxo Panama trip to continue work with my former client, Wetlands International.
